The Porsche Taycan price range in India now spans from ₹1.67 crore to ₹2.54 crore, covering three variants:
- Taycan RWD: ₹1.67 crore
- Taycan 4S: ₹1.91 crore
- Taycan Turbo: ₹2.54 crore
The RWD variant is ₹24 lakh cheaper than the 4S and a significant ₹87 lakh less than the Turbo, making it a competitive option for luxury EV enthusiasts.

The Taycan RWD is equipped with an 89 kWh battery pack and offers a WLTP-certified range of 503-590 km on a single charge. Below are its key specifications compared to the higher variants:

Charging capabilities
The Taycan RWD supports ultra-fast charging with its advanced 800V architecture:
- DC Fast Charging: Up to 270kW, allowing a charge from 10% to 80% in just 18 minutes under ideal conditions.
- AC Charging: An onboard 11kW charger takes approximately nine hours for a full charge.
Performance and features
The Taycan RWD features a single motor driving the rear wheels, delivering a smooth yet sporty driving experience. It accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in just 4.8 seconds and reaches a top speed of 230 km/h. Despite being an entry-level model, it retains Porsche's hallmark luxury and performance characteristics.
Comparison with international models
