Hyundai is stepping into China’s EV market with a new electric SUV, and early speculation suggests it could be the Ioniq 4. The teaser shows a boxy SUV silhouette, Ioniq 6-inspired headlights, and EV6-style taillights (though inverted).

Hyundai’s version of the Kia EV5?
Built on Hyundai’s E-GMP platform, the SUV is expected to share similarities with the Kia EV5, which was designed primarily for Asian markets. Both SUVs follow a tall, muscular design, but with distinct styling.

Expected specs
While details remain scarce, Hyundai's new EV could offer multiple battery options, similar to the Kia EV5:
- 64 kWh, 215 bhp (Standard)
- 88 kWh, 215 bhp (Long Range)
- 88 kWh, 310 bhp (AWD Dual Motor)
Initially, this SUV may be China-exclusive, but a global launch could follow. More details should surface soon, stay tuned!
