The third-gen Mercedes-Benz CLA has finally been unveiled, and it’s bringing AI-powered tech, massive range, and cutting-edge design to the compact luxury segment. This isn’t just another premium sedan—it’s a glimpse into the future of Mercedes’ electric ambitions.
And the best part? It’s coming to India! 🇮🇳
A Sleek, Star-Studded Design

Mercedes-Benz has given the CLA a modern yet familiar look, refining the four-door coupe styling that Indian buyers have always loved. The signature grille is now a sleek panel with 142 star-shaped elements, adding to its futuristic appeal.
- Frameless doors & flush handles give it a seamless, high-tech look.
- LED light bar across the front & rear adds that unmistakable premium touch.
- 17- to 19-inch alloy wheels—designed for both style and aerodynamics.
It’s elegant yet aggressive, making it one of the sportiest sedans in its class.
Inside: AI-Powered Luxury
Step inside, and the CLA feels more like a tech lounge than a car. The optional MBUX Superscreen now packs:
- 10.25-inch digital cluster for the driver
- 14-inch infotainment touchscreen
- 14-inch screen for the front passenger(optional)

But what really sets it apart is the new AI-backed MBUX system. It understands Indian driving conditions and can respond to voice commands using ChatGPT, Google Gemini, and Microsoft AI—perfect for real-world traffic and navigation needs.
Electric Power & Performance
The new CLA is launching as an EV first, with two variants:

CLA 250+ EQ
- 268 bhp | 335 Nm torque
- 0-100 km/h in 6.7 sec
- Range: Up to 792 km (WLTP)
- RWD setup
CLA 350 4MATIC EQ
- 349 bhp | 515 Nm torque
- 0-100 km/h in 4.9 sec
- Range: Up to 771 km (WLTP)
- Dual-motor AWD
The biggest game-changer? 800V ultra-fast charging. This means:
- 325 km range added in just 10 minutes
- Up to 320 kW DC fast charging support
For Indian highways, this makes long-distance EV road trips more practical than ever!
Mercedes-Benz hasn’t announced India pricing yet, but expect the EV version to arrive first, followed by the hybrid in 2025.
The CLA has always been a favorite for young luxury car buyers, and with this feature-packed, AI-driven, long-range EV, it’s only getting better.
