Škoda has globally unveiled the facelifted the electric Enyaq Coupe and Enyaq SUV, showcasing a modernized look, improved aerodynamics, and enhanced features. These updates reflect Škoda's "Modern Solid Design" language, offering a sleeker, more refined appeal.
Modern Design with Aerodynamic Excellence
The facelift brings a sharper, more aerodynamic design to both the Enyaq SUV and its coupe sibling. The front fascia now boasts a split LED headlamp setup with high-set matrix LED DRLs, accentuating the sleek, futuristic closed-off grille. Škoda has introduced the 'Tech Deck' design, which integrates sensors and 23 illuminated LEDs into the grille for added functionality.
The chrome skid plates and refreshed bumpers contribute to improved aerodynamics, reducing drag coefficients to 0.245 for the SUV and 0.225 for the Coupe. At the rear, new C-shaped LED taillights and a revised bumper complete the facelift.
The Enyaq Coupe stands out with its sloping rear silhouette, body-colored side skirts, and 19 to 21-inch alloy wheel options, adding to its sporty character.
A Revamped, Tech-Focused Interior
The interiors of the Škoda Enyaq facelift prioritize comfort and sustainability. Both models feature a redesigned steering wheel with the ‘ŠKODA’ wordmark, a 13-inch freestanding touchscreen infotainment system, and a 5-inch digital driver’s display.
Additional highlights include:
- Heated front seats
- Three-zone climate control
- Panoramic sunroof
- Optional head-up display
- Sustainable materials: ECONYL fibers for seat upholstery and recycled trims
With the rear seats folded, luggage space extends from 585 liters to 1,710 liters in the SUV and from 570 liters to 1,610 liters in the Coupe.
Upgraded Battery, Range, and Performance
The facelifted Enyaq lineup offers two battery options:
- 59 kWh battery: 431 km range (SUV), 439 km range (Coupe)
- 77 kWh battery: 588 km range (SUV), 597 km range (Coupe)
Equipped with DC fast charging, both batteries charge from 10-80% in just 30 minutes. Performance enthusiasts will appreciate the Enyaq 85 variant’s dual-motor AWD setup, delivering 282 bhp, 535 Nm of torque, and a 0-100 km/h sprint in 6.7 seconds.
What’s Next for India?
Reports suggest that Škoda will bring the Enyaq facelift to India later this year, positioning it as a premium electric SUV alternative to models like the Kia EV6 and Hyundai Ioniq 5.
